Second pair of Rakkaat Rasat, now the fox. Blue-green yarn I've dyed myself with cool-aid (greyish Novita wool), brown is Maija. I had some problem finding a main color that would be different enough from the Maija, and when I did find it, they ended up being a present for friend who turned 30. So no colorwork mittens for me. But my friend loved them. Actually we dyed the yarn together with the friend who got these mittens. Photos were taken on a hike to Hepakat laavu with a little terrorist called Ruska.

Omina modauksina tein intialaisen peukalokiilan ja koska tuo kämmenpuoli näytti tylsältä, lisäsin sinne vähän lisää tassunjälkiä.
I knitted an indian thumb gusset to these mittens and since the palm looked a bit boring added few more paw prints.
Seinäjoen reissulla hain Rustoopuorista vielä yhden Rakkaat Rasat -paketin, sen kuovin mitä kaipailin jo käsityömessuilla. Josko niitä sit ens syksynä.
On our trip to Seinäjoki I bought one more Rakkaat Rasat set, this time Eurasian curlew that I wanted to buy during the craft fair (but they didn't have it with them). I'll do that next fall, maybe.
